Our next concert

Sunday May 17th 2026 3pm Stokesley Methodist Church.  Mozart, Beethoven, Debussy

With Spring in the air, CCO players and our wonderful conductor Dan Hands, have a spring in our step as we prepare for our May Concert! The parts have been delivered, the cakes for the interval refreshments have been perfected, and as we eagerly practice whilst watching the natural world wake up from its winter slumber and teem with life, we invite you to join us on this musical journey which buzzes with excitement and fresh joy.  We begin in the Parisian world of Claude Debussy and his Petite suite, a delightful collection of musical miniatures, before being whisked off to Vienna for Mozart’s Piano Concerto No. 21 in C major. We are joined for this concerto by Barbara White, a familiar face to many and phenomenal performer. Our concert finishes with Mozart’s dedicated disciple, Beethoven, whose 8th Symphony brims with musical sunshine. It is impossible to experience this symphony without a smile and is simply the best way to spend a Spring Sunday afternoon.
